in the canyon
in the county of Orange
abandoned orange trees
not taken care of
some dead
the live ones are wild
made wild
by neglect
like a child who smears
his feces on walls
their fruit goes bad
but the green on leaves
and in his eyes among weaker
and dead
carry on and shine
